This item includes the ECO-Bed solid hardwood platform bed frame with an AirLay 8 inch fill white futon mattress. THE MATTRESS – Our AirLay futon mattress has a patented fibre-foam core which helps the mattress spring back to life and retain its shape. The foam core is wrapped in multiple layers of pure cotton batting which gives the futon a soft natural feel. We vacuum-pack and box each futon mattress just before shipping. ABOUT POPLAR HARDWOOD – The ECO-Bed frame is made of smooth, clean, unfinished poplar hardwood. The wood has been kiln dried and planed on 4 sides to be smooth to the touch. The wood takes stain or paint exceptionally well but most of our customers elect to leave it as is and enjoy the beauty of natural wood. ***IMPORTANT NOTICE – This item requires assembly, we include all hardware and step-by-step instructions.
