Is the Right Mattress For You a Latex Mattress With Memory Foam?
By
In the mattress market today there’s no hotter product then the latex mattress with memory foam. The density of the mattress, which is 4 cubic feet, and the quality of the mattress make them highly desirable. It also helps they last a very, very long time.
The core of the latex and foam mattress tends to be around 5 to 6 inches thick and features what are called “pincore holes” that are manufactured directly into the latex portion of the mattress. These manufacture holes give the mattress a cooler and more airy feel while also making the mattress more comfortable by increasing its softness. Larger these manufactured holes and a latex are, the softer and more comfortable the mattress will become (unless you prefer a firmer mattress in which case you would want less pincore holes).
Most of the foam and latex mattresses that you find on the market only feature one size hole throughout the entire body of the mattress. This provides a uniform comfort. However, not all of the latex foam mattresses you can buy on the market feature one singular comfort zone. Some latex mattresses feature different comfort zones in which particular sections of the latex and the mattress have differently sized manufactured holes. This allows for the mattress to be firm and areas and softer and other areas.
These types of mattresses feature what’s called layering. Layering is what most people are looking for when they purchase this type of mattress. The layers are layer of latex with a layer of another substance on top of the latex which is usually softer (such as a softer latex or a foam like a memory foam). This layering allows the mattress a more supportive and more comfortable feeling. Those with memory foam have been claimed to be the most comfortable mattresses available in the market today.
The combination of latex and memory foam provides an enormous amount of benefits. Latex provides a much more powerful core for the memory foam to rest on then a eight traditional foam, innerspring, or air mattress. Latex is more dense and gives the memory foam stronger and more evenly distributed support. This allows the memory foam to function just as it should or providing support for all contours of your body, displacing your body weight, and eliminating any and all pressure points to prevent aches and pains and tossing and turning.
Most latex and the mattresses today are manufactured with a combination of natural and synthetic latex this provides the mattress with the more resilient make up. There’s an argument as to whether natural or synthetic is better. Some mattresses are made up of all natural latex and some are made up of nothing but synthetic latex. The all natural manufacturers claim that their latex is just as sturdy and strong as a synthetic latex is. The real answer is that there’s no significant difference except in price. You’ll find that the synthetic kind is much less expensive than an all natural.
Memory foam is typically made up of the polyurethane foam with specific chemicals added in to give it the visco-elastic make up. There is no all natural memory foam.
So if you are considering buying a new mattress and were debating on whether you should buy a latex mattress or a memory foam mattress you should consider buying one that contains both. Not only is it more comfortable but it provides much more support than any other traditional mattress available on the market today.
