Our organic cotton and Pure Grow wool mattresses and mattress sets are hand tufted using European wool disks to allow for more wool and more cotton fill. The innerspring is layered in organic cotton and then wrapped in Pure Grow wool. These layers are tufted to either a natural cotton or and organic cotton ticking cover. Our organic cotton is grown and manufactured in the USA with no pesticides, fungicides, defoliants, mineral oils or fire retardants. This exquisite mattress set comes in firm, extra firm and super firm. This beautiful mattress set offered by Chemically Sensitive Living follows our premise that only organic fibers create a safe sleeping environment. Organic fibers are breathable fibers, grown and manufactured without the use of pesticides, herbicides and chemicals that can be harmful. Organic beds offer an optimal sleeping condition and safer environment to the sleeper. Since you spend one third of your life in bed and because your skin absorbs what it comes into contact with; it only makes sense to sleep on organic bedding. The Pure Grow wool used in the making of this mattress set comes from the Pure Grow Wool Project in California. Pure Grow wool is obtained from sheep that graze freely on hills free of pesticides. After the wool is sheared from the sheep it is soaked and washed in hot water only. This wool is not carbonized or treated in anyway. Wool is considered to be the ideal natural fiber for the bedding environment because of its many attributes. Wool insulates, is mildew resistant, is considered a safe natural fire retardant, it has remarkable resilience and is moisture repellent. We recommend this mattress to be matched up with the corresponding box spring. Specifications: 312 coils — firm, 522 coils — extra firm, 1000 coils — super firm.
